“Spring in Al Andalus”

This is the itinerary for the Society’s Spring tour of Andalucia.

4th April. Arrival at Málaga airport. Drive to Ronda.

Ronda (4th and 5th April)
•Accommodation Parador (2 nights, half board).

4th April Afternoon: Cultural visit to the city.
5th April Morning: Visit to Pileta Caves.

Price: 316 Euro per person in a double room

Sanlúcar (6th, 7th, 8th and 9th April)
•Accommodation: Posada de Palacio in Sanlúcar de Barrameda (4 nights+ breakfast)

6th Arrival in Sanlucar and free time to walk around the village.
7th 12.00 Riding School and Horse Exhibition.
8th 10.30 Visit to the Bull-farm Fermín Bohorquez.
9th Flamenco evening at Bereber

Price: 466 Euro per person in a double room

Seville (10th and 11th April)
•Accommodation Hotel Alcántara (2 nights + breakfast) or Hotel Las Casas de los Mercaderes (2 nights + breakfast)

10th Sail along the Guadalquivir River, having a nice view from the city at sunset.
11th Cultural and historical visit to the city

Price: 254 Euro per person in a double room.

Cordoba (12th and 13th April)
•Accommodation Hotel NH Amistad (B&B)

12th Cultural walk around the city, visiting: la Judería, La Mezquita, Cathedral.
13th Visit to the antique ruins of Medina Azahara

Price: 240 Euro per person in a double room
When driving to Granada 14th Visits:
•Visit To Montilla Visit to Nuñez de Prado (oil mill) and tasting or walk through the olive countryside.

Price 15 Euro per person

Granada (14th and 15th April)
•Accommodation Parador (half board)

14th Sunset visit to the Albayzin and city center of the city
15th Visit to La Alhambra with guide (palaces and gardens of Generalife).

Travel to Malaga via the Alpujarras.
